3. Start Scanning with idealab™
Once integrated, select idealab™ on your iTero scanner during scans, and we’ll take it from there.
1. Log In
Access your account via the 3Shape Communicate Portal.
2. Navigate to Integrations
Open the "Integrations" menu at the top of the portal.
3. Activate idealab™
Locate idealab in the list and click “Enable Integration.”
4. Confirm the Setup
Select “Proceed” to finalize your changes.
5. Verify Activation
Refresh the portal occasionally until the integration status updates to “Enabled.”
6. Restart TRIOS
Close and reopen the TRIOS application to complete the process.
1. Log In
Access your account using your credentials.
2. Find Us in Partners
Click on “Partners” on the left-side menu.
In the search bar, type support@idealabdental.com
3. Request a Partnership
Locate idealab in the search results.
Click “Request Partnership” and confirm your request.
4. Get Approved & Start Sending Cases
We’ll quickly approve your request. Your status will update to “Partners”.
Once approved, you can start submitting cases directly to our lab.
1. Perform the Scan
Use your intraoral scanner to capture detailed scans of the patient’s teeth.
2. Export the STL File
Convert the scanned data into an STL file through your scanner’s software.
3. Share the File with Us
Email the exported STL file to support@idealabdental.com, and our team will handle the rest.

2. Download the Rx form
3. Pack physical impressions with any patient related
with Rx form in the bag/box
4. Let us know there is a pick up: text message
with your location "pick up at ...(address)" or call at (437) 226-3772
